Every donation is tripled through December 31, 2026
Austin’s parents, Ruby and Vince Tsai, will add $2 for every $1 given through the end of the year. A gift made before year end is worth three times as much to the students on the other side of it.
Upcoming 2027 Expansion Plans
To honor Austin's legacy, our 2027 initiatives are designed to reach driven young creators early by providing direct, unconditional financial support, expanding hands-on agency coursework to new campuses, and surrounding rising builders with dedicated mentorship.
Young Builder Grants
$2,500 grants awarded to quiet young entrepreneurs through peer and mentor nominations to ensure builders are recognized without relying on self-promotion.
$25,000 Campus Expansion
A $25,000 effort to renew UC Berkeley's course sponsorship or launch a parallel entrepreneurship and agency program at a second university to reach a broader cohort of students
Builder Circle Mentor Network
An $8,000 mentorship initiative connecting young founders with Austin’s former teammates and experienced builders through quarterly small-group sessions and an annual gathering.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
We were so grateful to see so many of our cherished family and friends at the Water Lantern Festival in San Jose to mark the second anniversary of Austin’s passing. Thank you all for your love and support. To those who made donations or participated in the Silent Auction to benefit Berkeley Changemaker®, we will never forget your generosity.
Our Mission
The mission of the Austin Chen Tsai Foundation is to empower young, creative, and talented men and women who aspire to make a positive and significant impact in the lives of those around them through entrepreneurship.
By supporting others who emulate the same qualities that made Austin special, we hope to keep his memory alive by building on the legacy that he left to us all too soon.
Austin’s Legacy
While he was still a senior in high school, Austin at the young age of 18 began his career as an entrepreneur by starting a business as a concert ticket broker. With his talent in computers and writing software code, and his natural entrepreneurship, he was able to grow his business exponentially even during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Austin may no longer be physically present among us today, but his spirit continues to inspire and drive us forward. We want to provide resources and assistance to those who need a helping hand to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey. Through our work, we aim to keep Austin's ambition alive and empower the next generation of dreamers and doers.
