Calvin Keen
Calvin is the co-founder of the Corinthian Jewelry Company, an online retailer of fine jewelry, diamonds and gemstones. He is a graduate of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. For over a decade, Calvin worked with the Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation, a globally-recognized and award-winning organization dedicated to nation building in Southeast Asia. His advocacy contributed to the development of low-cost housing and rural development in several areas throughout the Philippines. He is also the older brother of Austin Chen Tsai.

Ruby Tsai
Ruby came to the US from Shanghai, China to pursue her PhD at Cornell University in 1987 after graduating from Fudan University. She did her post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University and then worked as the Director of Stanford Transgenic Research Center and Associate Director of Stanford Cancer Institute, prior to her founding Applied StemCell, Inc, a leading stem cell and gene editing company in cell gene therapy field. She is currently the CEO and President of Applied StemCell, Inc.
Notable Fact: On the day Austin was born, Ruby walked to the delivery room from her office at Stanford University.

Vincent Tsai
Vince is a California native from Palo Alto. After attending and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the US Naval Academy in 1977, he served as an active duty officer on surface ships with deployments to the Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean, and Far East reaching the rank of Lieutenant. He returned to the Bay Area in 1985 and began a fruitful career in Technology sales engineering, enterprise account sales, and sales management. During this span of over 30 years, he worked at large corporations (Sun Microsystems, Cisco, NetApp), small startups (Vaadin, Vyatta), and VAR system integrators (Logicalis, Bear Data Systems). He also managed to obtain a Master of Science degree from San Jose State University, graduating in 1995. He retired at the end of 2021.

Sophia Sebastian
Sophia attended UC Davis and majored in Sociology Organization Studies with a double minor in Technology Management and Spanish. While at UC Davis she was a part of the Women’s Division 1 Swim Team receiving numerous accolades for her athletic and academic achievements. Sophia met Austin when they swam together at Quicksilver Swimming in high school. They went on to become best friends and dated one another for 4 years when they went to college. Currently she is a part time swim coach back at Quicksilver Swimming where she can share her swim talents with younger athletes and also feel connected to the place where she met Austin. She is studying to take her LSAT exam and attend law school in 2025, the way both Austin and her Mother (who passed to cancer in may 2023) always supported her to do.
